Arthur L. Sagnor, III joined Wetzel, Gagliardi, Fetter & Lavin after over 40 years as an associate and partner at Lachall, Cohen & Sagnor. Art concentrates his practice primarily in the areas of real estate, business, banking and municipal law (zoning and land development and subdivision).
His real estate practice includes representing developers, builders, sellers and buyers of real estate, both commercial and residential from the letter of intent or agreement of sale to settlement. Art’s experience in representing banks includes preparation of commercial loan documents as well as the collection of loans in default via mortgage foreclosure, complaints in confession of judgment, loan modification agreements, workout agreements and/or forbearance agreements.
Art has represented both commercial landlords and commercial tenants since the inception of his practice. His landlord/tenant practice includes the negotiation and drafting of leases as well as litigation.
Art represents many local businesses, from small to large, including incorporating/organizing various types of business entities. Negotiating and drafting of shareholder agreements, operating agreements and limited partnership agreements, employer/employee contracts and independent contractor agreements. Finally, Art represents various zoning hearing boards and also appears before many diverse municipal boards for private clients.
