John A. Gagliardi, Partner

John’s practice includes bankruptcy, real estate (including foreclosure defense), commercial transactions, estate & trust planning, and administration. Recently, his practice has focused on consumer and business bankruptcies, representing debtors and creditors across all Chapters. Prior to joining a mid-sized Philadelphia law firm, John clerked for the Honorable Paul H. Teitler, A.L.J., United States Department of Labor.

In 2012, John and his partners formed Wetzel Gagliardi & Fetter LLC, currently Wetzel Gagliardi Fetter & Lavin LLC. He helps train volunteer attorneys to handle Chapter 7 bankruptcy proceedings for the Consumer Bankruptcy Assistance Project in Philadelphia, PA, and takes on bankruptcy cases for the Chester County Legal Aid Access to Justice program in West Chester, PA. Annually since 2013, Main Line Today magazine selected John as a Top Lawyer in Bankruptcy Law.
