John A. Wetzel, Partner

John’s practice includes bankruptcy, commercial transactions, wills, trusts, and estate planning and administration. He has a certificate from Temple University School of Law’s Graduate Tax Program in Estate Planning. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey.

As an adjunct professor at Widener University School of Law, John taught the Corporate Reorganization & Chapter 11 course, and has also lectured on Business Law and Consumer Bankruptcy Practice and Procedure at the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, University of Vilnius, Lithuania, and ETLE University, Budapest Hungary. John has represented clients in the Enron, Adelphia, Nortel, and Orleans Builders bankruptcy cases, as well as clients in the United States Bankruptcy courts in Delaware, Indiana, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Texas. He served in the United States Army from 1962 to 1965.
